Robert Leggat's Home Page
For the past few years I have become increasingly involved in
web development, partly professionally, partly as a hobby. Here's
a list of some of the sites I have either developed or had a hand in:
A History of Photography A hypertext history of photography covering all major people and processes from the earliest days up to the 1920s. A pilgrimage to Ypres Few can visit Ypres without being stunned by the enormity of the conflict nearly a hundred years ago. This is an account of a visit to the trenches, and also to find where my wife's grandfather had fought and was killed. Arrow Supply Ltd Specialists in Industrial fasteners, Tools and Engineering supplies Bedfordshire wildlife Involving Nick, a participant at Youthmatters (see below). Here, the finished product - though I think it will be quite informative - is not as important as the educational objectives gained in working on the web-site. Ongoing project. Biddenham Upper School One of the most pleasurable and demanding occupations has been that of a governor at this delightful school. One of my daughters was there, and I have seen the school being transformed from one scheduled for closure to a highly desirable school in the community, thanks to the combined efforts of the management, the hard-working staff, and parents. CDVDPacking.com Anything you need to pack CDs and DVDs into. We are members of Christ Church, Bedford, and will have on this site occasional pictures of social events. Eagle Bookshop A bookshop with a difference! Mainly for expats An occasional news round-up for people who used to live in Bedfordshire Malta Some years ago we spent some time at a Christian holiday guest house in Malta, and so enjoyed it that I put up this page as a mark of appreciation. Patricia St John Patricia St.John was a leading writer of Christian books for children, and her books continue to be sold in large numbers. Nevasa I taught at Ewell County Secondary school for a few years, and one of the highlights for me was an educational cruise round the Mediterranean. This site contains a slide show of the event. Raeleisure A Bedford consultant team connected with sports and recreation. Special Needs Special Needs Internet Partnership. A data-base of organisations catering for young people with special needs in Bedfordshire St. Albans College I was a pupil at St. Albans college, Buenos Aires, in the fifties, and hope that the web-site, which has a guest-book, provides the means whereby former students, wherever they are, may renew acquaintances. To get you started A number of links for those new to the Internet. Welcome to Bedford Jill and I came to Bedford in 1970, and we have come to appreciate the town and its many amenities. This site provides information about Bedford - just about everything one needs to know about the area. Westfield Middle School A small, delightful school in Queens Park. Westminster College, Oxford A site for former members of the college, also with a guest-book, in the hope that it might permit former students (Old Ws) to re-establish contact with each other. Organization set up to provide a service to marginalised young people within Bedford.
