Jazz & Bagpipes at St. Alban’s
JAZZ CLUB DEL SUR
On Friday 5th of September we shall have a very interesting and exciting musical event. The Jazz Club del Sur, which organizes jazz concerts at the school on the first Friday of every month, will present the Ensamble Musical de Buenos Aires, a 30 piece band in the style of the Count Basie or Duke Ellington Big Bands. One rarely sees and listens to 30 musicians on stage, we invite you all to what will surely be a hot and exciting musical night. Entrance is free. Commences at 21:00 hrs.ABCC and SAPA
On Saturday 6th of September, the Argentine-British Community Council is holding a Scottish Night with the participation of the South American Piping Association, the biggest Scottish band in South America. So polish your sporran and iron your kilt for the traditional Highland tunes. And if Scottish music is not enough enjoy the sound of the 70’s and 80’s with the wizard dj, TEDDY B. Bar opens at 21:00 hrs.

SPORTS COMING UP SOON
We are now fully immersed in the Athletic season and the 90th edition of our Inter-House Sports will be held on Sat 27th of September so sprinters, jumpers and throwers of years gone by get your spikes and vests ready to support Sparta, Athens and Corinth.

We are only a few years away from our first Centenary, 1227 days to be exact, and we are getting ready in style. In future SACNET editions we will be informing you of all the things that we are preparing for the grand occasion so stay tuned.
1983 and 1988 Baccalaureates
We are organizing special events for the Bachilleres of 1983 and 1988 who are celebrating their 20th and 15th Anniversary respectively, any information regarding those who belonged to the above mentioned classes is greatly appreciated.
