GEORGE FAGAN SIMPSON
“SAMMY”

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of our dear friend GEORGE FAGAN SIMPSON in Cordoba on Tuesday 16th of December. “Sammy”, as we all knew him, was born on December 31, 1931, he attended St. Alban’s from 1943 to 1949, and later went on to work for DUNN & BRADSTREET where he became regional director for Latin America. He was one of the most enthusiastic Old Philomathians ever, spreading the Philomathian Spirit and Comradeship wherever he went. He was instrumental in organizing OP gatherings in many parts of the world, and most lately the regular OP luncheons in town. Sammy will be cremated and his ashes taken to Santa Fe.
There’s no doubt that his lively and contagious enthusiasm will be greatly missed.
