St. Albans College, Buenos Aires       ALEXANDER MARR MACGAW “Alec” Born 8th January, 1936, Alec attended SAC from 1947 to 1951. Keen Athenian he was a member of the First XV in 1950 and 1951. After school he went on to play for Lomas AC, Pucara and the OPC, forming part of the team that gained promotion to First Division in 1960, he continued playing the sport he most loved until late in life with the Old Virgins and several Veteran teams. Alec had 6 children, Robert, Patricia, Lorraine and Andrew from his first marriage to Pethie Hall and Lucas and Georgina from Lili. His father was Hugh MacGaw, known by all as “Magoya at the steering wheel”. Alec was a determined fighter, both in life and on the rugby pitch and he fought till the end. He undoubtedly left his mark and will be missed by many. Our prayers are now with his loved ones. Wake will be held in Casa Lassalle, Lomas as from Thursday 2nd of June from 17:00 to 22:00 hrs and Friday 3rd from 08:00 to 15:00 hrs. Funeral service at Llavallol Cemetery at 16:00 hrs.
