Counselling involves meeting with another person, a counsellor, to explore areas of personal difficulty. It can offer the opportunity to understand yourself better, improve your relationships and live more fully.

Counsellors work to the Code of Ethics of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy(BACP). All information disclosed is treated as confidential.

Counselling is available to anyone over the age of 18. The Centre is committed to equal opportunities. A standard fee is charged for the initial interview, but this can be negotiated. Fees for on-going counselling are agreed according to means.

If you apply for counselling you will be offered an initial appointment with an experienced counsellor. At this meeting the nature of your problems will be explored and the benefits of our counselling to your needs will be discussed.
