Service:
A 5 bedded unit offering respite care facility for children with learning disabilities and additional health care needs up to age 18. Provides a warm, home-like environment to minimise the stress on a child being away from his/her family. Also provides high standard individualised care through named nurses and keyworkers for each client. Types of respite care offered are:
1. After-school care - called Tea Visits
2. Day Care
3. Overnight care
4. Consecutive overnight stays
5. Max of two consecutive weeks
