Service:
ChildLine is the free, national helpline for children and young people in danger and distress. It provides a confidential phone counselling service for any child with any problem 24 hours a day every day. It listens, comforts and protects. Trained counsellors provide support and advice and refer children in danger to appropriate helping agencies. ChildLine also brings to public attention issues affecting children's welfare and rights.
