Southern area appeals office of National charitable organisation committed to caring for children with Cancer. The Charity provides care in a number of ways, including two telephone helplines available for anyone whose life has been affected by a child with cancer, and offers a confidential "listening ear", continuing care nurses, providing crisis breaks, home care, welfare grants, special travel and holiday insurance, education advice, counselling for child and family, play therapist, social workers, plus quarterly newsletter - Caring Times.
Fund-raising activities all year including balloon races at Luton, Hatfield and London. Companies are approached to make a donation or enter the balloon race. All proceeds raised go directly to the charity - award received from the Charities committee for work done by the charity.
